Does Wawa have nugget ice?

What we found

• A June 2026 review of Follett ice machines says, "If you have chewed the soft pellet ice at Chick-fil-A, Wawa, or a hospital water station, you already know Follett." That is a secondary review, not a Wawa or Follett statement that every Wawa uses those machines.
• On r/Wawa (April 2021), a customer asked for a list of stores with Wawa's "good ice (crunchy, nugget, pellet)," which only makes sense if it isn't obvious that every store has it. A reply said any store that makes smoothies.
• On r/AskPhilly, a comment says, "Some Wawas have the chewy ice, like Chick-fil-A, and some don't." A separate r/QuikTrip post (April 2024) groups Wawa with Chick-fil-A and Sheetz as chains that have Follett nugget (Chewblet) machines. That is one person's equipment comment, not a company source.
• Wawa's own grocery, health and ice page does not say what shape the ice is (fetched 2026-09-30). We found no Wawa company statement that stores serve nugget ice, at every location or at all.
• Pins are auto-added from OpenStreetMap for visitor convenience, not because Wawa confirmed every store. Wawa's website terms prohibit scraping and copying its content, so we did not use the store locator. If a location doesn't have nugget ice, vote "no longer has it."

1,027 Wawa locations on the map

Locations from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). They're widely reported listings, not individually confirmed — customer reports and a 2026 review describe chewable pellet ice at Wawa, but other reports say some stores don't have it, and we found no company statement. Wawa's terms prohibit scraping, so these pins are OpenStreetMap only. If one is closed or its machine is out, vote “no longer has it.”
