Does QuikTrip have nugget ice?

What we found

• A May 3, 2026 HOMEVOL guide says, "In the Midwest and South, QuikTrip (QT) is a reliable haven. Their newer stores almost always feature at least one fountain head dedicated to nugget ice." The same guide's takeaways say, "Buc-ee's and QuikTrip are the gold standard for gas station stops." That is one writer's guide, not a QuikTrip statement, and "almost always" at newer stores is not every location.
• On r/QuikTrip (April 22, 2024), the original post says, "QT nugget ice is larger than Sonic-style ice which is made by a Scotsman nugget ice machine." A comment on that post says, "So this machine makes chunklet ice. That is a proper name for QT nugget ice." Another comment says the fountain ice machine at a traditional store is a Cornelius unit (a WCC2001R) and that the commenter does not know what the newer test fountains use. Those are customer equipment comments, not a QuikTrip statement, and they do not say every store has it.
• QuikTrip has not officially confirmed nugget ice at every store, or that stores serve nugget ice at all. We did not copy the store locator: QuikTrip's Terms of Use forbid copying its content or displaying its marks without written permission.
• Pins are OpenStreetMap stores, not a copy of the QuikTrip locator. A convenience store and its fuel canopy within 120 meters count as one store. This snapshot has 1,038 pins in 21 states (Texas 250, Arizona 155, Georgia 145, Missouri 128, Oklahoma 87, Kansas 82, South Carolina 66, North Carolina 37, and fewer in Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nevada, Florida, Oregon and South Dakota). There is no pin in Indiana or Utah. Wikipedia's article (fetched September 30, 2026) says 1,201 locations as of February 2026 and describes an Indiana opening in April 2025 and a Utah opening in July 2026. C-Store Dive (February 26, 2026) says QuikTrip had just opened its 1,200th store and planned at least 80 more in 2026. 711 pins have a street that starts with a number, 4 have a street with no house number, and 323 have no street in OpenStreetMap. No house number was guessed. One Washington object named Quik Trip was left off: it is a 76 station, not this chain. If a pinned store doesn't have nugget ice, vote "no longer has it."

1,038 QuikTrip locations on the map

Locations from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). They're widely reported listings, not individually confirmed — a May 2026 guide says newer QuikTrip stores almost always have a nugget-ice fountain head, and an April 2024 post describes QT nugget ice as larger than Sonic-style Scotsman ice, but QuikTrip has not confirmed it and these pins are not every store. QuikTrip's terms prohibit copying its content, so these pins are OpenStreetMap only. If one is closed or its machine is out, vote “no longer has it.”
