Does P. Terry's have nugget ice?

What we found

• A community report (October 2026) says P. Terry's Burger Stand locations in Texas have nugget ice. The report came to us without a link, and when we searched on October 6, 2026 we couldn't find it or any other public source (Reddit, Yelp, news or P. Terry's own website) that says what kind of ice P. Terry's uses.
• P. Terry's website, menu and FAQ don't say what kind of ice it uses (checked October 6, 2026), and we found no ice-machine maker or dealer source that names the chain. We found no company statement that its restaurants serve nugget ice, at every location or at all.
• Pins are OpenStreetMap restaurants tagged as P. Terry's in the United States, not a copy of the store locator; objects mapped twice within 150 meters count once. On October 6, 2026 this snapshot has 29 OpenStreetMap pins, all in Texas (Austin 17; San Antonio 3; and one each in Bastrop, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Kyle, Lakeway, Pflugerville, Round Rock, San Marcos and the Schertz–Cibolo area). Twenty-four pins have a street that starts with a house number, and 5 have no street in OpenStreetMap; no house number was guessed. In June 2026 P. Terry's said it had 38 locations, all in Texas, including four in the Houston area; its Capital Plaza restaurant in Austin closed later that month for the I-35 expansion and isn't pinned. OpenStreetMap has no Houston-area P. Terry's yet, so some locations are not pinned. If yours isn't pinned, add it. If a pinned location doesn't have nugget ice, vote "no longer has it."

29 P. Terry's locations on the map

Locations from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). They're widely reported listings, not individually confirmed — a community report says P. Terry's locations in Texas have nugget ice, but we couldn't find a public source for it, P. Terry's has not said what ice it uses, and these pins are not every location. Pins are OpenStreetMap only, which has no Houston-area locations yet, so if yours isn't pinned, add it. If one is closed or its machine is out, vote “no longer has it.”
