Does Chicken Salad Chick have nugget ice?

What we found

• In the r/Columbus thread "Where to get Nugget ice (other than sonic)," a commenter answers: "Chicken Salad Chick and Chick-Fil-A both have it!" That is one customer in one market, not a company statement.
• A 5-star customer review of the Chesapeake, Virginia store, dated February 27, 2026 and shown on an aggregated place page, says: "They have the good ice too." "The good ice" is a common nickname for nugget ice, but the review doesn't say nugget explicitly.
• Chicken Salad Chick's own website and menu don't say what kind of ice it uses, and we found no ice-machine maker or dealer source that names the chain. We found no company statement that stores serve nugget ice, at every location or at all.
• Pins are OpenStreetMap restaurants tagged as Chicken Salad Chick in the United States, not a copy of the store locator; objects mapped twice within 150 meters count once. On October 6, 2026 this snapshot has 139 OpenStreetMap pins in 20 states (Georgia 24; Alabama, Florida and Texas 13 each; South Carolina and Tennessee 12 each; North Carolina 9; Louisiana 8; Virginia 7; and fewer in Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and New Mexico). Eighty-two pins have a street that starts with a house number, one has a street with no leading house number, and 56 have no street in OpenStreetMap; no house number was guessed. Chicken Salad Chick's About page (checked October 6, 2026) says it has over 350 restaurants in 27 states, so many locations are not pinned yet. If yours isn't pinned, add it. If a pinned store doesn't have nugget ice, vote "no longer has it."
